Cheese
Alright just bought some sharp cheddar from "Wisconsin", and its as crappy as the rest of the cheddar here, think tofu gone bad. So either they are lying, or they're buying from a lousy dairy. Just wanted to say that for the sake of those non Wisconsin people out there, the WI cheese in these out of state stores cannot even be said to be a paltry imitation of the sublime wonder that is a WI sharp cheddar.

I will be traveling to Madison,Lacrosse and Oshkosh WISCONSIN in a month.Is there any place you would recommend for this exceptional cheese?
The best cheese in Wisconsin can be found in a little town called Fenimore at Carr Valley Dairy (the place with the big mouse in front)There you will find 10 year old cheddar, which is amazing.
Since you are stopping by in La Crosse though, the Co op usually has some pretty good cheese (i.e the Shullsburg extra sharp cheddar)
Fennimore WI -2 Ns in Fennimore. In SW Wisconsin. Williams Street Co-op or any of the other Co-ops in Madison WI would probably have North Farm(or Natural Farm cheeses). If you went on the internet and looked up North Farm or Natural Farm Co-op from Madison Wisconsin they could help you find out where their location was in Madison WI for their extremely EXCELLENT cheeses ranging from 3 to 6 yr old Cheddar to Blue cheese to several other varieties of cheese that they do very well.They carry other products as well. The name of the Co-op in LaCrosse WI; was it Peoples Co-op??? or The Peoples Co-op????
Thank you for the information. Autumn in Wisconsin is what my main reason is to visit there. I have just seen pictures of the fall colors,now I am going to experience it.The part of Florida I am from you don't see colors like what you have up north.
Cheese?! I have never had WI cheese having been born, raised and living in Hawaii. Cheese is California's domain?-Isn't it?
